Privacy notice

The short version

This site has no user accounts, no login, and no database. We collect what you type into the project inquiry form. That is all.

Information you send us

When you submit the project intake form, we receive the fields you completed: your name, email address, and the details you provided about your company, project, and situation.

This is delivered to BrightPocket Software as an email so we can respond. It is used to reply to your inquiry and to assess whether we can help. It is not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or added to a marketing list.

We keep inquiry correspondence for as long as it is commercially relevant. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time and we will.

What we deliberately do not collect

The intake form contains no field for a password, API key, access token, or any other credential, and it asks you not to send them. Free-text fields are additionally screened for content that looks like a credential, and submissions containing one are rejected rather than stored, with an explanation.

If you need to give us access to a system, that happens later through a secure channel appropriate to the system — never through a public web form.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics. It exists to answer two questions: how people find us, and whether the site actually leads to an inquiry. It is not used to build a profile of you.

What is recorded:

• —Page views, and general information about the visit such as the referring site, approximate location, device type and browser.
• —Campaign attribution, where a link carries it — specifically the five standard utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term values. Every other part of the address after the page path is removed before anything is sent.
• —A small, fixed list of interaction categories: which call to action was clicked, whether the case study or the live demonstration was opened, whether the inquiry form was started, submitted or failed, and which broad type of work was selected. These are counts of anonymous actions, not records of who took them.

Nothing you type reaches analytics. No name, email address, telephone number, company name, message text, form field value, or error message is sent — including when a submission fails. The failure is counted; its contents are not.

Vercel states that Web Analytics uses aggregated, anonymized data and does not set third-party analytics cookies. Measurement is collected only from brightpocketsoftware.com itself — preview and development versions of this site record nothing at all. On our current plan, the reporting window is up to 12 months.

There is no advertising tracking, no session recording or replay, no heatmap, and no tracking of you across other websites. How Vercel handles this data is governed by their own published terms and privacy policy. We describe here what we collect and how we have configured it; that is a description of our practice, not a legal opinion or a guarantee of compliance with any particular privacy law.

Hosting and processing

This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard technical request information such as IP address in order to serve pages and protect against abuse. Form submissions are transmitted through an email delivery provider.

Your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit form submissions. It is not stored alongside your inquiry.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and the analytics described above does not use third-party analytics cookies either. There is no consent banner because nothing here stores or reads data on your device for tracking purposes — not because a banner was judged inconvenient. If that assessment ever changes, this notice changes with it.
