Why diagnosis comes first
Nobody can quote a repair they have not diagnosed
When the cause is unknown, an estimate is either padded to cover the unknown or optimistic and renegotiated halfway through. Neither is fair to you.
A Triage removes that uncertainty for a fixed, modest fee. You end up with a written diagnosis, findings ranked by real business risk, and a scoped next step — which you are free to hand to any developer, including one who is not us.

If a Triage is not the right step, we say so before taking payment. Sometimes the problem is already well defined and can simply be quoted.

A fault that cannot be reproduced cannot be verified as fixed. Everything we find is captured as evidence, not described from memory.

We examine what builds do not check
Authentication, session handling, data isolation, configuration, deployment behaviour, and what your tests genuinely prove.

We rank by business risk
A data-exposure issue outranks an interesting architectural preference. You get an ordered list, not a wish list.

You receive the written diagnosis
Findings, causes, evidence, what to preserve, what to repair, and a scoped priced next step if repair makes sense.
About this price
$495 is a founding price, fixed and paid up front. It is deliberately below where this will settle, because we are building a track record and you are taking a chance on a provider you have not worked with before.
Fixed fee means the price does not move because the diagnosis takes longer than expected. That risk is ours.
What we will never do
A Triage is not a free technical audit dressed as a sales call, and it is not a funnel that always concludes “you need the expensive thing next.”
If the honest answer is that your software is in reasonable shape, that is what the report will say. If the right next step is something we do not offer, we will name it.
