Idea to Launch

A path for something that does not exist yet: clarify what it actually is, plan it properly, prove the risky part, and only then build.

A blueprint is not implementation, and a prototype is not production software

Each step exists so the next one is cheaper and better informed. None of them promises that your idea will work commercially, and we will tell you when the honest recommendation is not to build it at all.

These are a secondary pathway. BrightPocket’s primary work is rescuing and launching software that already exists.

What we offer

Idea Clarity Session

Available

A working session that turns an unclear idea into a problem, an audience, an outcome and a next step.

$295
fixed fee, session plus written summary
What it includes
  • A 60-minute working session
  • A short written summary: problem, audience, outcome, constraints
  • A recommended next step — including “do not build this”
Not included
  • Market research, competitor analysis or financial modelling
  • Technical architecture or designs
  • Any validation of the business idea
Terms
Fixed fee · summary within 3 business days
Before we start
For a not-yet-built idea. An existing application with problems needs Rescue Triage instead.

Idea-to-Launch Blueprint

By fit review

A structured launch or MVP blueprint: prioritised scope, workflow, risks, acceptance criteria and a phased recommendation.

$995
fixed fee, a structured plan before you commit budget
What it includes
  • Prioritised scope, in and out
  • Core workflow description and a risk register
  • Acceptance criteria per phase, and a smallest responsible first phase
Not included
  • Implementation — a blueprint is not a build
  • Designs or mockups
  • Fixed build quotes for unscoped work
  • Legal, trademark or funding advice
Terms
Fixed fee · 10 business days
Before we start
We confirm the idea is clear enough to scope before you buy.

Idea-to-Prototype Sprint

By fit review

An explicitly defined prototype or bounded technical spike that demonstrates one thing.

From $2,500
bounded scope, quoted per sprint
What it includes
  • A working prototype of the agreed scope
  • A written statement of what it does and does not do
  • A demonstration session and source handover
Not included
  • Production readiness — a prototype is not production software
  • Security hardening, scale or performance work
  • Real user data, payments or app-store submission
Terms
Quoted per sprint · 15 business days from scope agreement
Before we start
Scope is bounded and written down first. A prototype that grows is a build, and is quoted as one.
